Description of Cannondale CAAD12 DISC Dura Ace Roadbike 2016 – NSP

So good, it skipped a grade!

Cannondale have done it again. As the rest of the competition was trying to figure out how to make an aluminum race bike as good as the CAAD10, they’ve taken a quantum leap all the way to CAAD12, a road bike so light, so stiff and so smooth that it’s going to fundamentally change the way people think of aluminum performance. It is simply the world’s finest aluminum road racing machine and a high-performance alternative to carbon.
AbraCAADdabra!

  • CAAD12 Elite Race Geometry
Unlike much of the competition at these price points, the CAAD12 is a thoroughbred racer. Its geometry is virtually identical to their SuperSix EVO Hi-MOD for razor-sharp cornering and aggressive race positioning. So it’s very responsive, although not too twitchy.
  • Flow-Molded Smartformed 6069 Alloy
The CAAD12 is the first bike to be designed with Cannondales new Flow Modeling process and the results are striking. Flowing, organic shapes that yield lower weights (sub-1100 gram frame weights for both disc and non-disc) and radically improved compliance, while maintaining their trademark frame stiffness.
  • Updated Speed Save Micro-Suspension
The brand new CAAD12 delivers over 50% more compliance and comfort than the previous CAAD10! Their seat stays and chain stays have been completely redesigned to allow them to have even more vertical deflection, but stay stiff laterally and torsionally. It got the same two-zone SPEED SAVE concept as SuperSix EVO. This lets the rear wheel track the ground, improving speed, cornering, grip and comfort. A new, smaller diameter post offers a silky smooth ride, even after hours in the saddle.
  • Delta Seat Tube and Asymmetrical BB
A massively flared Delta seat tube adds stiffness at the BB and the flattened flare profile allows greater deflection in seat tube under seated loads for more comfort. The asymmetrically 73 mm wide BB shell allows for bigger downtube junction and larger non-drive chainstay for stiffness.
  • Full Carbon Disc Fork
CAAD12 uses Cannonales proven full BallisTec Carbon disc fork, with 140 mm post mount.
  • Braze-On Disc Caliper Mount
Simple innovation eliminates one of the biggest sources of weight in disc brake frames. In fact, the CAAD12 disc frame is a few grams lighter than the non-disc version! Incredibly strong – This ultra light caliper mount not only passes Cannondales stringent fatigue tests with ease, it actually passed the absurdly brutal tandem brake test! Patent Pending.

Description of Cannondale CAAD10 TRACK Bike 2016 – GRN

CAAD10 meets Track!
CAAD has a long heritage with Cannondale with a new, exciting chapter – the Track.Aluminum might appear to be an obsolete frame material, but don’t show that towards the newly developed CAAD10 Track frame. By improving the aluminum in the previous 6061 towards 6069 and slicing almost over 200 grams from the CAAD8 that beat it. The true smooth welds help to create a stronger, stiffer frameset. Also worth noting would be that the frame is really full of details every present-day carbon frame has. Cannondale uses some frame components from their carbon versions like the SAVE Stays along with a flattened top tube used at their MTB F-Series to complete also the CAAD10 Track frame.Using the concept of increasing power transmission, the CAAD10 Track works with Asymmetric Chain Stays with horizontal dropouts which are higher and rectangular about the drive side. A BB30 bottom bracket (with BSA adaptor) joins the group of flared tubes.

The CAAD10 Track is very responsive, although not too twitchy. The bike will handle quite simply and will traverse the oval like on rails. Its track geometry continues to be refined to create an all-around balanced bike. The frame tightness is nearly similar to a great carbon frame.

For effortless rounds and speed-limit-breaking sprints, the CAAD10 Track sports Cannondale’s most advanced aluminum frame. Its large BB30 bottom bracket shell is impressively stiff for blazing acceleration and efficiency, while its meticulously shaped tubes are lightweight and compliant, so stronger and faster rides are no problem. Up front, the Carbon Track fork with a tapered steerer handles steep curves with ease.

The CAAD10 Track bike is equipped with a number of solid parts, namely, SRAM Omnium crankset with 1/8″ track chain and super stiff Mavic Ellipse Track wheels.

This bike is perfect for mid to amateur racer or competing team road bikers who need a stylish training bike which can also excel in competition.

Note: This bike is a pure sports machine. It does not have two independent brakes and only the fixed drive. The participation on traffic roads is therefore not permitted.
A brake mount is in place at the fork, but the braking surface of the special track wheelset is anodized and non milled, which entails a bad braking behavior. Therefore using brakes in combination with that wheelset is not recommended.

Description of Cannondale SUPERSIX EVO HI-MOD Red Roadbike 2015 – Racing Edition

The ultimative road machine!
The SuperSix EVO is the unfair advantage in the competition for the fastest legs. Designed to be the perfect blend of all the key factors of performance – weight, stiffness, strength, compliance, handling and aerodynamics – the EVO is so good that Tour magazine in Germany named it the “Best Bike in the World”.
Cannondale’s leading edge carbon construction utilizes BallisTec Carbon Technology to create the lightest production road frame ever made, with the best stiffness-to-weight ever measured. Ballistec Carbon is a high-strength fiber developed for Ballistic armor and high-impact resins that build remarkable strength into this ultralight frameset. A special EVO-Carbon layup which means continuous Intermediate-Modulus-Fibers along the upper tube and the seat stays allow an distribution of load peaks all over the frame. In numbers it means a weight of only 950 g. Impressive!
The frame incorporates a version of Cannondale’s SAVE stays called Speed SAVE MicroSuspension. Borrowing principles from F1 racing where suspension is more for traction than comfort, the Speed SAVE stays allow for a bit of vertical flex to help keep the wheel on the ground. The compliance comes from a flattened central section on the chainstays and seatstays. The fork is also designed with Speed SAVE by giving it a longer, shallower curve from crown to dropout, allowing for more fore-aft flex. Cannondale says the result is better traction and power transfer on rough roads, and it may make it one of the more comfortable race bikes out there.
The steeper head tube angle and shorter wheelbase suggests faster steering. It truly comes alive steaming down hills and sprinting up them eating up mile after mile with lightning fast speed.
The SuperSix Evo achieves its incredible stiffness and strength with smaller diameter tubes than others. This dramatically reduces the Evo’s frontal area and reduces drag without the added weight and compromises of aero shaped tubes. In fact, tests have shown that the EVO has only 14 g more resistance than the best “aero” frames without having their extra weight and the rough handling. The new SRAM RED 22 11-speed group combines minimalist design, high-tech materials and perfect ergonomics. By using carbon, titanium and ceramics this group reached a incomparable performance. The group integrates advanced technologies like DoubleTap, YAW and Exact Actuation. Unconventional, awesome, function-oriented.
The wheels set are the lightest Mavic Ksyrium Elite S WTS of all time. It used Isopulse-spoking and optimized bearing positioning for a stiff and dynamic feeling.

Description of Cervelo P3 Ultegra Di2 Triathlon-Bike 2014

The new P3!
Just like the P2 took the time trial and triathlon world by storm, so has the P3. Victorious in roughly half of the ProTour TTs in which it has been entered and equally successful in Ironman Triathlons. It also has scored 2 gold medals in Beijing (men and women)!
Equipped with newest Shimano Ultegra Di2 components for best price-value-ratio and maximum competitiveness at precision and durability. The new P3 collects many of the engineering advances Cervelo made with the P5, and through their industrial design process sketches and smoothes them together to create a bike with speed built in: the new P3 is both stiffer and faster than its predecessor. Whether you’re on a regular training ride or setting a new PB, the P3 delivers motivation by design. This is a bike that’s as ready to race as you are.
Aero head tube – no bulky nose cone, but an extremely thin, aerodynamically optimized shape. CCS – Constant Cross-section seat tube – The airflow over the seat tube is predominantly horizontal. The seat tube shape has a cross section shape that is separately optimized everywhere between bottom bracket and the seat stay joint. Cervelo aero carbon IAA seat post – With its Integrated Accessory Attachment, this seat post can secure behind-the-seat components such as water bottle holders much more securely. Integrated seat tube collar – By integrating the seat tube collar completely into the top tube, Cervelo is able to smoothen the aerodynamic profile even further. The airflow doesn’t even see the collar, yet the seat post can be removed with ease. By integrating the seat post into the frame aerodynamically but not structurally, you can fit the P3 into any bike case and travel without a problem, something that is very difficult to do with other integrated seat post solutions that have the seat post molded into the frame in one piece. Smartwall for Carbon – with the sides far away from the center plane, Cervelo concentrates more material there to increase the benefit. Strips of high and ultra-high modulus carbon stiffen the sides of the main tubes to resist lateral bending. These strips are feathered in to properly transfer the loads from the joints into these tubes. Finally, Kevlar in the headtube/downtube area increases the impact strength. ICS Internal Cable Stops – The best internal cable stop system available. Easy to install, easy to service, easy to keep clean and is also improves aerodynamics.Adjustable geometry – The flippable seat post allows for an adjustment in seat tube angle range of 74-79 degrees so the rider can tailor the geometry to his/her specific desires.

Welcome to the win.In this configuration the 600 Series OCLV Carbon frame comes with SRAM Force 2×11-speed drivetrain, Bontrager Race Lite TLR wheelset with Bontrager R3 tires and carbon parts.

  • 600 Series OCLV Carbon – Advanced aerospace materials and weight-saving, performance-enhancing technology give 600 Series OCLV the best balance of frame weight/stiffness in the industry.
  • Speed Geometry – Tri-specific geometry is specially engineered to accommodate the extra weight on the front wheel when you’re in the aerobars, for ultra-stable handling and a more confident ride.
  • Net Molding – An OCLV Carbon exclusive. Trek’s proprietary molding process allows them to create the precise, extremely-tight-tolerance shapes required for the best ride quality and performance, like their integrated cupless BB90 bottom bracket and cupless Net Molded head tube.
  • The Fastest Fit – Nothing fits like Speed Concept, thanks to the best fit window in the industry. You’ll feel the difference, from the bike leg through to the finish line. A comfortable rider in an efficient position can put the most power to the pedals. And in triathlon, a comfortable ride leads to a faster, more comfortable run. Trek designed Speed Concept with the greatest size range and adjustability of any tri bike, to give you the best fit. For the fastest rides, the fastest runs, and the fastest overall results.
  • Beyond the Wind Tunnel – Trek went beyond the wind tunnel to make the world’s fastest bike even faster. They factored in real-world conditions, tested on actual courses, and again left the competition behind. For the all-new Speed Concept, Trek went back to the wind tunnel and dialed in the aerodynamics between 2.5 and 12.5 degrees of yaw, the most common average on Ironman courses (Trek know, because they measured them). They paid particular attention to the front end, paring it down to the cleanest, sleekest leading edge in the business.
  • New, faster frame design – Trek’s latest improvements make the fastest bike even faster: 30% less frontal cockpit area, unprecedented aero integration of cables, revolutionary Speed Fin, improved aerodynamics. All that, and Speed Concept is even lighter than before.
  • KVF Tube Shape – The Kammtail Virtual Foil (KVF) tube shape is groundbreaking aero technology. Trek started with a super-slippery 5:1 airfoil, then cut off the tail at just the right length to trick the wind into thinking the full foil is still there, creating a super-aero virtual tail. Less drag at all crosswind angles and a lighter frame mean greater speed from the power you put to the pedals. Speed Concept conquers the wind, and the competition.
  • Ultra-Clean Front End – Move around to the front of Speed Concept and an amazing thing happens: it all but disappears. Fully integrated handlebar with hidden shift and brake cables presents 30% less surface to the wind. It’s the lightest, cleanest, most aero front end ever.
  • Fast Build, easy Adjustement – Tri bikes are not known to be mechanic friendly. But Speed Concept changes that. It’s faster to build, easier to adjust, simpler to pack for race travel. You’re welcome.
  • Carbon Integration – Every integrated piece, from carbon front derailleur mount to carbon dropouts to water bottle bosses, is molded into the frame, eliminating redundant material and reducing weight.
  • Full-Foil Fork – Trek tested every shape possible, and found this 6:1 ratio is fastest where it matters most. This fork slices the wind from 2.5-12.5 degrees of yaw angle without stalling for unparalleled aerodynamic performance in real-world wind conditions.
  • Integrated Handlebar – Bar is integrated into the frame for the sleekest, lowest-drag profile.
  • Invisible Brakes – Speed Concept is the first bike with front and rear brakes built directly into the fuselage. This innovative setup results in less drag and cleaner lines—and easier adjustment.
  • Integrated Speed Storage – Bontrager integrated Speed Storage products are so well fitted to the Speed Concept frame that you and your bike are actually more aerodynamic with them than without.
  • Speed Fin – Trek’s exclusive Speed Fin performs double duty: it’s a powerful brake booster to enhance rear-wheel braking power, and it cheats the wind as an aero rear-wheel fairing.
  • Electronic Drivetrain Optimization – Full internal routing with a proprietary seatpost battery mount allow for a perfect interface with the industry-leading drivetrain systems. No zip ties, no electrical tape, just the cleanest electronic drivetrain integration available on a tri bike.
  • Performance Cable Routing – Trek’s sleek, race-optimized cable routing system virtually eliminates friction for the crispest shifting in any conditions. Three years in the making, and well worth the wait.
  • Bontrager Aero Skewers – Speed is in the details. Even the quick-release skewers on the Speed Concept increase its speed. We integrate them into the shape of the bike for faster aerodynamics.
  • BB90 – Wider is better—and BB90 is the widest bottom bracket available on a road bike. This Trek-exclusive carbon BB makes the frame lighter, stiffer, and quicker to accelerate. BB90 eliminates the need for extra inserts and parts in the bottom bracket/frame junction. Fewer parts mean a lighter frame. And a lighter frame means a faster ride.
  • DuoTap compatible – DuoTrap integrates the computer sensor into the frame to measure speed, distance, and cadence with no added aerodynamic drag. It works with all the major Bluetooth® and ANT+ wireless technology players, including Bontrager, Garmin, PowerTap, and SRM.
